A few days ago I actually watched the first Manly game of the 1997 season (its on YouTube). Someone had commented that it was a great jumper design by the Tigers......it was basically the 1994 Kangaroo Tour jumper with black and orange instead green and gold. It was exactly the same.

Bankwest looks the same. Seriously, they would be lucky if there is 5 or 6,000 in attendance.

At least you can actually hear the crowd and there's some atmosphere in this stadium. During the souffs game all you can hear is the referees talking.

It helps that Bankwest has 53,000 less seats and is designed so that the fans are practically right on top of the game. The acoustics seem very good.

ANZ was built as a 110,000 seat Olympic Stadium that was compromised in the re-build so that Aussie rules and cricket could be played there, and it loses a quite a lot of atmosphere when there is almost no crowd.

Raiders playing some good footy. Cotric's doing his best to keep his spot in the blues squad.

Kinda hope he does, but we all know that if Tom gets through tomorrow night OK then he'll be straight into the NSW side.

Whether or not he replaces Cotric, Mitchell or Morris remains to be seen, but it'll probably be for Cotric. But after tonight I can see Roberts also coming into centre contention.
