Non-Manly Games [Round 12, 2019]

I said it in an other thread but hasnt Croker lost it.

Zero involvement week after week. Looks like he is not interested.

Ricky will have to punt him once every one is available.

⁦Good news on Luke Keary from ⁦@BuzzRothfield⁩. One of the world’s leading neuro surgeons has cleared the Roosters star of any long-term brain-injury concerns. Trent Robinson said the advice was to give him a six-week rest. https://t.co/kKj7s6iRoT

This round, especially with the Ch.9 televised games, just shows how screwed up things are with the draw.

Today's TV game is the Tits vs Cows from Cbus. Wouldn't have it been better, considering that this game isn't likely to draw more than 10,000 fans (especially given that Origin is in Brisbane on Wednesday), to play this game on Thursday night in at least warmish conditions and to have played Thursday's Riff vs Manly game today? Regardless of ladder positions, a Sunday arvo game in Sydney is more likely to draw a bigger crowd than expecting people to turn up in frigid conditions at the foot of the Blue Mountains on a Thursday night, even if it is mostly the locals.

That’s called common sense you asking for from the nrl , they don’t have it.
Yes totally agree with your suggestion.

Solid crowd of friends, family and two or three fans at the Tits v Cows game..

Official attendance: 8,227...

Actual bodies at the stadium (including staff): 1,000 tops..

Have to say that the surface at Cbus looks pretty good (except the in-goal to the left of the camera). It almost looks like its some sort of synthetic turf.

Hang on, is that Perenara out there? I thought he was supposed to be out injured?

Compare that pass from Roberts to put Copley in to the harbour bridge stuff we’ve got happening. Should be just a given NRL half can throw a decent long pass.I reckon it’s cost us half a dozen opportunities in the last month of games.

I know Kahu was able to make the tackle on Brimson, but that play there is a perfect example of why I absolutely, positively HATE fullbacks packing into scrums at lock in the oppositions half.

If that had been a team like Melbourne with someone of Addo-Carr's speed on that wing, if he'd had made a break or had been chasing a kick like we saw them do a few times earlier this year, it would have been a try every day of the week simply because there was no fullback at home.

Damn, the Cows were robbed there. Forward pass my arse.

Can't believe I'm agreeing with Gould, but I am this time.

So this is the same sht rabble that flogged us last week and now they can't get ahead of an understrength Cowgirls. Geez we are fully fuked.
