I feel I’ve been negative these past few weeks so here are a couple of positives:
- the roosters v Brisbane game and this Souths v Raiders game have been great to watch from a neutral observer perspective.
- Anasta’s and Finch’s commentary are actually relatively enjoyable to listen to.

Finch is good he explains the plays very well and makes good calls every game

And the other thing is, despite having played for the Raiders (ok, who hasn’t he played for?), I never got the sense he was riding them home. He calls what he sees and he should be commended for it.

I think Billy Slater is the best of the ex-footballing commentators on Nein with Thurston an absolute joke and Lockyer only marginally less cringe-worthy.

They all understand the game but they can't get there point across as well as finch does. Are you saying parker is good? The guys a flop like bedsy. They can't get out what they really mean but they will come good at some point you'd think. You can also feel the bias from the 2 of them
