Non-Manly Games [Round 1, 2017]

I know the Tigpies are 16 in front but if I were them I would be running almost everything down the left at 1nglis' side of the field. The bloke can't run.

And as I type, they go down the left and Brooks scores a meat pie.

I just can't understand why they are leaving him out there. Now even in the case where it is an injury that can't really be aggravated further, what possible good is he doing out there? Morale?

Not a fan of the 6pm timeslot, mainly due to the poor crowds

Yup, real dumb keeping G.I out there, literally useless with some possible consequences

What a flogging, the Robbiohs are rooted!!!

The Tigpies running absolutely riot.
That they are

It's strange how the Tigers always beat the bunnies, recently anyways. Even when they've got a poor side they lift against them.

However I think they'd be a little less impressive against a different side

Only took Inglis 5 mins to hurt his knee and get his excuse for an ordinary season.
'Playing busted' they'll say every game
Except origin time when hallelujah a miraculous 3 game recovery.......
Takes me back to all the gullible fools who used to rave at the courage and extraordinary powers of recovery of ray price after he collapsed into the arms of a trainer on field or later in the dressing rooms evoking stories of packer wackers or Oxyvivers or some such and he'd be back on the field again......
Please spare me.

This is a very bizarre game. I cannot recall ever seeing a player with that degree of injury playing on (unnecessarily). I could understand if 6 players had been sent off and there was just nobody left to cover, but geee whiz.

Gus Gould is right, 1nglis has been embarrassed tonight and he did not look happy.

I'm no 1nglis fan but WTF was Maguire doing keeping him out there?

Then again......Maguire did play for the Adelaide Rams (was actually their fullback in their 1st ever competition game against the Cowboys), so not surprised really.

Luke Kelly has been better than he was at parramatta, but then again everyone is better after leaving parramatta

Personally would prefer play them full strength although it gives us a huge chance to build as a side. Good news

Tedesco is spewing about being taken off

Can someone explain how Souffs have managed to put on 18 points so far with Goodwin scoring a hat-trick? I mean, they have no direction in attack.

I don't know who to go for here. Normally I would go for the Sharkies cause I don't mind the Sharkies and the Broncos are well the Broncos... Bur the Sharkies are the defending premiers and probably need to be bought back a peg or two. Bur currently at Milano in Queen St Mall so go the Sharkies!!!!
Try living in the Shire and I guarantee you'll have a change of heart regarding the Sharks

Goodwin scored a hat trick tonight.

Question.....was that the first hat trick scored at ANZ since Robbo did so in the 2008 GF?
