Non-Manly Games [Round 1, 2017]

64min mark and storm still up by 6.
Dogs on attack again.
Tight second half with no scores yet, plenty of ebbs and flows. Torrential rain hasn't helped in this half.
Storm looking methodical and systematic already (as you would expect from them). They lost Bromwich early with a broken thumb. Their wingers have been good
Dogs playing more on crowd and emotion with a very erratic performance. They started very flat and poorly, but a refs got them back into the game.
Anybody's game really.

5 minutes into the Souffs vs Tigpies telecast and you could be forgiven for thinking Robbie Farah's dad is Nein's director. So far its been ALL about him.

73mins gone and still 12-6 to storm.
Dogs have had a wealth of opportunities in the attacking zone this second half but nothing to show for it. Partly good defence from the Storm but also a lot of errors and poor kicking options.

Hahaha, even on the storm-dogs match we just got a shot of Farah and the commentators telling us to get ready as he's warming up in the sheds. lol

Not just on Nein @HoldenV8 but radio too. Anyone would think Souths are a one-man team. Well maybe two-man team (Farah and Inglis). Well and truly over the Farah hype!

Fittler just starting an interview with Jason Taylor and literally the first thing Freddie mentions is 'no Robbie Farah'.

So the Dogs attack looks as good as it did in 2016? Des has them flying under the radar early it seems.

OMFG.....Freddie Fittler has just interviewed Adam Reynolds and what was one of his questions......have you gotten to spend much time with Robbie Farah over the off-season?

Screw the Dalai Arthur, old news. Its now the Dalai Farah......

Dogs have nothing. They haven't addressed their attack/halves issues. No chance of making the 8 this year.

Far out I hate the storm.

How badly could the dogs play. Attack was abysmal. Kicking game was 0/10.

Arh.
Yeah, the dogs were shocking in attack. With all that ball in prime attacking position, and really, all the momentum with them pretty much since the 20 min mark of the game.

You're spot on about their kicking game, it was horrendous. If they kick like that against us I wont be so concerned with Uate and Jorge on the wings.

The Faralama has a good PR ring to it...

Fox, please get rid of Justin Hodges from studio commentating or any commentating for that matter. He sounds and looks like a bogan with marbles In his mouth. Seriously, I can not understand a word of what he is saying, he is terrible.

Hate the Storm, hate the dogs. Hate pretty much every other team. And over the last couple of years, thanks to the way the game is run and played, I think I might have grown to hate rugby league. If Manly's not playing, my interest in watching it is perilously close to zero. That's not a good sign, especially as the new season is two games old…
