No Patience!

The problem with Manly and the club in general is that there's no patience. You can't keep turning over a large numbers of players and coaches and expect the team to click.

Toovey, I believe was sacked unfairly. He got thrown into the job when the dog left. There was the not signing of G Stewart that started his demise. Unfortunately by this time the the lunatics had taken over the asylum and the to factions went to war, not only the factions on the field but the factions in the board room.

Most other clubs put in a 3 to 5 year plan and go the rebuilding slowly but this club wants immediate success so anyone that's not performing or are not liked are shown the door. Then the brawling starts and the cycle repeats it's self.

We didn't have to pay DCE over a mil a year had someone signed him earlier when we could have got him much cheaper. Instead I think they wanted to keep Foran who decided he didn't want to be here so they chased DCE and it ended up with the club offering him big bucks. It was a monumental **** up. The problem is these **** ups with keep happening if they don't implement a plan.

We haven't learnt from our mistakes, we gave the dog full control and we all know how that ended up. So what do they do they bring in Bozo and give him full control, sacks the coach, brings a unknown in Barrett and Cartwright, then another huge turnover of players. And now we are seeing cracks appear and it will all end up in tears.

Then we can watch the cycle begin again. FFS the club has been a rabble at boardroom level and just when it looked like the board was happy once Penn got control, the **** fights begin again.

Isn't it great being a Manly supporter!

All too true.
My patience has run out with the hierarchy.
Time for a clean out in head office.

The Toovey sacking was an agenda sacking.
I know what that is like.
Whats happening now is bittersweet justice.
2 x 7 losses in a row.
Scary.

The things is, we never had to rebuild in the first place.

We were a successful club with a strong culture. We had a proven coach in Toovey who was a Manly legend, we had Donny who was a premiership winning trainer, and we had some of the best juniors in the competition coming through; Turbo's, Gutho, Knight, Hoppa, etc.

Sure the old brigade was getting on a bit but the hand over did not need to be so swift. We could have slowly saw a changing of the guard and kept the culture in tact...instead we just tore everything down and that's what is difficult to comprehend.
