These men replacing Taupau, AFB, Perrett and Lussick were absolutely horrendous. Had stages where they were on fire but a majority of the match they, along with certain others didn't play for manly, ****ty effort and I think we have a right to be angry. Drop some of em, fill the squad with players who want to play for manly and in a manly way.
Halves were good considering this dismal showing by these forwards.
Trbo's, Uate, Taufua (bar that knock on), Lawrence, Bainbridge, Kelly played well. REALLY missed our forwards today, no leading by example. Although as I said people playing for manly must play above and beyond. There was no sign of that "body on the line" mentality there today by a ****load of em. Gotta beat the Cowboys to impress although without Taupau, AFB, Lussick and Perrett we have no platform and as seen the replacements aren't anywhere near capable of lifting for manly. Won't be a good sight. No shifting defence this week, likely due to forwards missing
