NFL shock

Winging it
I have been a sideline supporter of the San Diego Chargers for a couple of decades. It has been a long miserable streak of the lowliest of performances  - but gigantic shock  , they rolled Denver on the weekend and now lead the AFC West with an 8-3-0 record, one of the best of the whole competition. I guess I can live in hope that the 125-1 I got to win Superbowl is still a possibility. 🙂

I recall the Chargers making the Big Dance in 1995.

Don't worry. It's been a far leaner spell for this Dolphins and Vikings fan. :?

onya Volley, at least someone else follows the good guys.

although they will probably get to the division championship and blow it AGAIN

I've always followed the Pittsburgh Steelers. I watched the replay of their match against Jacksonville last night on ESPN. Very entertaining match. The Steelers are now 11 - 1 , with 4 weeks to go before the playoffs. Their odds have reduced dramatically over the last few months. I backed them to win the SuperBowl before the season started ( odds of 60/1 ) & they are now in to approx 5/1. It's good to have other sports/teams to follow during the off season , but it's not quite the same as supporting Manly in the NRL . "Bring on Season 2005 " !!!

Good to see a Manly supporter with similar NFL taste. My parents lived just out of Pittsburgh but it was too hard to get a ticket when I visited. I agree about bringing on season 2005 (but only if we have learned to tackle - otherwise it may be another nightmare!!)
