Yes some rookie coaching errors played it's part, but can i ask, "Who was our leader on the field last night?"
I expected Myles to be that person, but I was way wrong. Lyon is the captain, but he is a lead by example kinda guy, and not always our coolest of heads.
We just dont have a Cam Smith smarts to slow things down, when the team is just trying that little too hard on the field. Calm nerves and get some composure back by just grind back into the game, before going hard.
The coaching staff have to develop it as well.
It was the rest of the team that put Thurston back on track after he missed the goal in the gf. The stars loose their **** too.
I am probably looking at DCE thinking I am just disappointed i didnt see him try and tak charge last night. Thay we lost is irrelevant. He has to become that person for us. He has the personal composure, but I am not sure I have ever seen him man manage those around him.
He is the orchestrator. Stop being so polite to your team mates, and take control. You are the half back and this is your team.
