Tom takes his chance 'over' Jake

Just like he does on the field every week, Sea Eagles full-back Tom Trbojevic saw too good of a chance this morning to let slip the opportunity to rib his older brother, Jake.

Fronting the media at a cold and wet Narrabeen, Tom was asked a question about ‘THAT’ amazing field goal charge down by Jake in Golden Point extra time at a soggy nib Stadium last Saturday.

It was a massive play. A minute later, Manly half-back Daly Cherry-Evans produced a miracle left foot field goal to sink the Warriors 15-14.

Trbojevic humbly shakes the "hero" tag

The Manly Sea Eagles might have been out of the finals race had Jake Trbojevic not charged down an 83rd-minute field goal attempt by Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson in Perth last weekend.

Having run for 161 metres and with 22 tackles under his belt, the Sea Eagles lock could have been excused for not delivering one final gut-busting effort in atrocious conditions in golden point.

But that's not the player he is.

My foster sister's family know the Trbojevic's quite well in Narrabeen where they live. They are full of admiration for the family but also state that they are down to earth and a great 'normal' family, well liked and unpretentious.

The NRL couldn't do much better than to promote the Turbos as the future of the game.

Leave them be. Every 'Face of League' Player had some disaster in their featured year

I worry about Manly's laser focus on the brothers, the limelight needs to dissipate to allow the players to enjoy their time on and off the field @
