Manly captain Jamie Lyon escaped a charge after being put on report during the second half of the match for his fall on Roosters centre Shaun Kenny-Dowall that referee Tony Archer, in consultation with video official Sean Hampstead, found was sufficient for an eight-point try.

I though Stewarts was careless at best it looked like he was going into knock him down and took his eyes off it.

At the time I didnt think it was as bad as they made out and still dont. You watch Stewarts style when he puts on a hit he does it with forearm not shoulder and kind of pushes them down. Anasta threw the ball and Stewart took his eyes off it.

He should try to fight it IMO

Has to fight it surely , he gets him with the forearm , not the elbow imo .
Grade 5 reckless is a too severe , I think they will try for down grade to a careless 2 or 3 .

He will do time for sure , I think 2-3 weeks is the right punishment .
