I would like to see more frontrowers as well, but lets be honest, how many toyota cup frontrowers look like they could step up to NRL level football, not many. I don't think we are alone in struggling to bring juniors through in the frontrow. This is where a lack of reserve grade hurts the comp a lot.

You're kidding.
Mate, we are not struggling to bring them through to 1sts, we struggle to retain them. JWH and Lama Tasi being prime examples.

Fair point, so perhaps we are better then the rest of the comp at developing Front Rowers, still all I hear is doom and gloom from some. The future is bright, we can't keep everyone, but if we can introduce a couple of new young faces to the team each year then we will build to something incredible.

As to the 4 -5 years thing, once we know they are part of the plan we should certainly get them on contract, and let them know that by staying with us they will get more in the long run. Truth is with the exemptions that are going to happen for juniors and long term club players in the future there is a good argument to sticking with your first club.
