THE Chinese Year of the Ox has got to get better for Manly skipper Matt Orford who intends to let his actions on the field do the talking from 3pm against the Newcastle Knights at EnergyAustralia Stadium tomorrow. “The time for talking is over - we need to forget last year’s premiership and this year’s World Club Challenge success and start playing like a team again,” the skipper said on the eve of the important round-four match.

Totally agree that they need to stop thinking about being Premiers and World Champs. They also need a relaxed approach to their games. I feel at the moment they are feeling under so much pressure to win that they are sabotaging themselves by making costly errors.
2008 (what a beautiful year) is in the past now, but we do have a great side for '09. If the team lives in the moment and plays simple good football they've got the troops to chalk up a lot of wins this year, despite the disasterous start.
