AN intriguing clash of the men up front will not only go a long way to deciding Sunday’s NRL clash at Brookvale Oval, but the make-up of the Blues pack this year.
Manly and Australian front-rowers Josh Perry and Brent Kite will stoush with one of the game’s most respected players in Steve Price.
The 35-year-old is the cornerstone behind both the Warriors and Maroons’ packs. It’s a mantle Price has held since making his Origin debut in 1998.
But now, as his career nears an end, Perry and Kite have the chance to show NSW selectors they are the ones to pick when the Blues attempt to end Queensland’s dominance this year.
