Manly was unlucky not to win that game. The turning point was Manly attacking the line. A grubber kick was gathered by a Newcastle player who sprinted 90 metres to score.
I liked the look of some of the youngsters. The strapping winger looks a likely crowd favourite of the future.
As for betting on football - ha ha loser!

The grubber along the try line is always a gamble.  Just how many times I've seen a try result from a grubber, a faster man picking it up and sprinting the length.  Always a poor option imo.
