I actually think its a good article. He is picking holes in the rules that have been changed that are pretty ridiculous. The way the game is going it is getting more and more like Amercian football and that is the comment he is making. He is not saying we should be going that way, he is using sarcasm to say it shouldn't, pointing out the extreme case of how things are going to go
