<div class="article-header"> <div class="article-title">FORGOTTEN Manly prop George Rose admitted after being selected to revive his career in Sunday's World Club Challenge that he feared he would never even walk properly again. </div> </div> <p>Rose will play his first serious top grade game in 18 months since suffering a double compound fracture of the leg in a match against Melbourne - an injury which required two lengthy operations and could have ended his career. </p> <p>"When I looked at my leg two years ago, I was worried I wouldn't be able to walk properly let alone play," he said following his selection on the bench for the Elland Road clash with Leeds. </p> <p>"It's been such a long, hard road back, from walking to running, to changing direction. I had good days and bad days. The club signed other players and I was concerned that I wasn't in their plans. </p>
