A much more preferable start to last year, but is it just me or do the players look bored ****less?

I noticed young Hoppa got a pretty good run on the TV, agree by this time tomorrow I was feeling sick after the news had broken.

I think we have a great roster, and the year will come down to attitude. On paper - we are one of (if not THE) best team in the NRL.

They look bored because they are focused on Monday week.

I feel amazingly positive about this year, no idea why but it feels like it will be a good year. If manly doesn't win as much as i hate them i hope the saints get up

It must be so boring for the players.  Sitting around for hours being manhandled by drunk star gazers, having to put on a choir boy image.  I'll bet they're glad it's over.

Agree with that. I've only ever met the players once in that sort of situation, and they were all very good natured, polite, friendly etc. But obvioulsy their chief interest is playing footy, and (for some probably more than others) they must feel a bit like zoo animals on display at times. I suppose in this corporate era it is a duty they just have to accept on certain occasions. I don't think they resent it at all though, as they know they get a lot of love & support from the fans & sponsors.

agree mata, they are all in the young adult male range and who in their life woudl put their hand up to do that unless they were being paid sh1tloads a year
