yeh blindside's credibility just flew out the window when he said we would save money fielding a team here.

Main reason why Manly & Canberra field a team in the QLD Cup was to cut the costs of having to field an entire team.

We only have to send over i thik 7 players. canberra in a recent article said they save over $200k haivng a feeder team up there.

Also apparently the costs in QLD are offset by bigger crowds, better government support and greater TV exposure resulting in better sponsorship deals. That is why the QLD cup is all out a better comp and a better place to blood players. If we play in the NSW cup it will cost more and deliver less for the team.

I was in Perth last week and the west aust newspaper reported that Blake is likely to coach the western force next year. There's a scoop for you mr blindside!
