just an idea that every one that submits an article, you just post it here and then it would save people time if someone allready has posted it, just a title heading and time posted, maybe make this sticky too

not a bad idea mate. I will think of something along these lines.

Perhaps a script that when you enter the title it checks against the other news articles already in the system and tells you "Already Submitted" or lists the similar ones, like Digg.

Gives me something to work on anyway

I just re-submitted it as a News Article.  I don't know why this keeps happening to just about every QLD Cup Sunshine Coast Sea Eagle news article that I submit lately.  I'm sure that I'm doing everything correctly when I'm submitting them but they just never seem to materialise on the website unless I chase them up and sometimes they have just been missed and sometimes they just don't seem to turn up to whoever it is that gets them after they are submitted.

Something is wrong Jethro. Unpublished articles come up for me on the home page in a blue box and I can then edit and publish. But it definitely isn't there.
