News: Alcohol free function for Sea Eagles

<p>EAGLES fans were forced to sip on soft drinks as the pain of successive defeats sunk into the premiers at Manly-Warringah League Club on Sunday night.
In what may be a first for rugby league fans, supporters were not allowed to drink alcohol at Manly’s first official club function since the infamous season launch on March 6.
Fans gathered to meet the players following the Sea Eagles’ disappointing 26-24 loss to the New Zealand Warriors at Brookvale Oval on Sunday evening.
Some fans questioned league club management about the non-alcohol edict, but there were no incidents. </p>
