    NRL chief executive David Gallop yesterday declared the AFL's billion-dollar broadcasting agreement a win for his code - and he was backed by one of the country's foremost experts on media rights.

    Might break the $1 billion barrier? We deserve more if the AFL gets 1.25 Billion. On the stats alone we get a higher viewership so the ads they sell should be more expensive. Less ads is a good thing as well. Just make up for it during half time and full time.

      Only Gallop could see a rival code mopping up huge amounts of the available pot as a WIN. The only win will come when the RL rights are signed and we get to see the dollars accepted. Idiot.
