New CEO puts expansion back on the table

Gordon Tallis - "Yes, we need to be strong in Sydney, but we have two or three too many teams...My vision and message to Dave Smith is to let the strongest survive...Set the challenge over the next three years to the Sydney clubs and put the teams in competition with each other: whoever doesn't get the biggest crowds, or highest membership or strongest corporate support must relocate."


Given Tallis' general support for my idea, and noting that he is widely regarded as clueless on all matters not related to running into a defence line at pace, I must regretfully drop my own support for the HH Future Of Sydney plan.
