Usually after a loss I'm trying to find some positives but there were a few positives on view so instead I'll ask this.
How can a professional team train all summer yet not have any idea where to stand in attack near the opposition try line?
No idea at all!!
It's as though that is one scenario it never occurred to them might arise.
Passing the ball to players standing still, about to get hammered by tacklers.
Oh well, I guess Des wanted to keep something back for the players to work on for the rest of the season

It's really frustrating when you have your forward pack FINALLY take aim and mow down through the middle and play well. And then you got our "world class" halves not knowing how to take advantage of it. Kicking game was trash bar that early kick that had challenge Paulo. So bad at trying to get repeat sets. And our creativity with our outside backs is just so scrappy and predictable. Our inside 20 attack is disorganised and they attack like they've never played or trained with each other before.

Digging the pragmatism SER8! It’s liberating to concede there is something fundamentally wrong from the coach down at our beautiful club.

Agree with this, i thought with both Chez and Foran in halves we would have better direction and setting up our outside backs we'd compensate for our lack of No 9. But the players are always starting from a standing start and tackled on the spot.

Hoping it improves with more game time.together but DCE in particular has been the biggest disappointment of 2021 especially as it's his team.

We didn’t win and sustained another injury. DCE is clearly out of form . Sorry have mention that our forwards turned up tonight and made a good account of themselves

We need much more talk. The big thing I took out of Blacktowns win last week was how much talk was going on out in the middle.

You can't learn football skills in the gym

30 sec to halftime you conceed a 40-20 then in 1 play let a try in. Absolutely staggeringly incompetent, pathetic rubbish. Overpaid leader who is clueless and the worst player out there. Slow backline with no idea. Geriatric #6 who should be playing seniors park football. A myopic coach whose living on decade old glories.
Players arguing and slapping each other. This place is f**ked beyond repair.

DESpicable mumbled his way through another inane press conference. Apparently the reasons we are struggling is because "we have to get players back on the park..."
No. You just don't select the correct players! What a hide he has mentioning Guacca as being unavailable when he never selected him.
Fair dinkum Despicable. Stop blaming players who have been proven to be below standard and start taking responsibility for your selections of them!

It's not to do with coaching. DCE usually has Sirro outside him, whereas tonight, he had a new combination. Pair that with a confidence crisis after last week and it's easy to see why our attack was underwhelming tonight. A lot of DCE's poor plays were off slow play-the-balls too...something he has always struggled with. He tries too hard. Most halves just play conservative off slow rucks in 'good ball' positions but DCE contemplates the big play when he should just dish.

OK Snake. You seem to have some line into training. Riddle me this. Is DCE ever pulled up for his mistakes? Is DCE ever questioned as to his thinking or attitude? Is DCE ever actually coached? Or is DCE given a free pass to **** up as much as he likes because he's untouchable?

He is just a human being ffs. He had a **** game. He has plenty of good games too. It's not like he is a machine that was incorrectly programmed by Des (who is masquerading as a coach but is really a spy for Souths).

Look, I think it's valid to question his performance, especially given his wage. It is disappointing but he tries his heart out and if anything, he is guilty of trying too hard. The loses are hurting and we just have to lick our wounds and turn up for the Saints.
