MVP

The Who

Journey Man
I notice we haven't enacted the voting for this round, so he's a start:
3. Walker
2. Tafua
1. DCE
This is the first time I've ever given Walker my MVP. I'm starting to warm to him.

3. Walker
2. Keppie (his defence in the middle was relentless. Nearly Jake like. He‘s getting better each game I see him in.)
1. Jorge.

3 - Jorge
2 - Walks
1 - Jake

Other than an early lost ball thanks to a one on one strip, Jorge was awesome for us last night. Safe under a high ball (who'd have thought?), good runs as usual from the back to help tired forwards, and two tries. And he didn't even need to put on a big hit in defence.

Walks, for mine, was better last night than most have given him credit for. Yes I do agree he's still a centre playing 5/8. But he is getting a lot better IMO. Sure he's not the game manager pivot that Foran and Green were, and he doesn't have the genius of a Cliffy or Bozo, but he does remind me a bit of Killer as a 5/8. He can run, he's getting better at knowing when to pass and his kicking is coming along.

And Jake ... what can you say? He never stops. He tackles anything in an opposition jumper (if I was one of the cardboard fans, I be worried he'll come after me next lol). The only thing I think his game lacks is more grunt, more oomph in his hit ups. Marty and AFB make a lot of post contact metres, Jake doesn't. But that is my ONLY complaint about him.

3 - Tommy Turbo - For the match winning pass

2 - Garrick - For his determined match winning try

1 - Taufua - For his strength, determination and powerhouse efforts
