Those with long memories will remember how our free-flowing, attacking based side was cut down to size by having to play in a bog every week in 1989.

The BOM is saying that the probability of rainfall well above the average for Sydney in April and May is WELL above average. A 90% chance of significant rainfall.

I propose that this is not good news for us given our backs are our asset and our forwards are small and lacking go-forward ability.

If we have several games in that period that are a hard slog in wet conditions we might struggle. The one bright spot on the radar is that we have a lot of interstate games through that patch, I think.

Thanks for the heads up Mata, I wont get a season ticket now.

And I agree that a boggy track wouldn't suit the teams style, like it would suit the Bulldogs.

get george to chuck 20 kegs on, then go rugby style and just push him through the opposition defence, he will slide for a good 30 - 40m with that amount of momentum.

hope your right mata, everywhere could use a wet few months but until i see it i wont believe it.

The El Nino is breaking up so we should expect a wet Autumn.

Byso raises another good point. It could effect the club's bottom line. We'll see how much whimsy there is for the Hill when it's pouring down in spades.
