Those with long memories will remember how our free-flowing, attacking based side was cut down to size by having to play in a bog every week in 1989.
The BOM is saying that the probability of rainfall well above the average for Sydney in April and May is WELL above average. A 90% chance of significant rainfall.
I propose that this is not good news for us given our backs are our asset and our forwards are small and lacking go-forward ability.
If we have several games in that period that are a hard slog in wet conditions we might struggle. The one bright spot on the radar is that we have a lot of interstate games through that patch, I think.
