Steve Roach actually said in commentary that Tom, Jorge and Aku doing those runs are a godsend for the forwards because they don't have to run back as far to take hit ups after a kick. Takes less out of the tank.
Hastings didn't miss a tackle all night and the chooks couldn't lay a hand on him in attack
And he's fit, he looked fresh as a daisy at full time.
