It is true that Manly has problems with cash.

They needed to develop the car park site. it is approved but no-one wants to do the development (no one picked up the tender) so it won’t be happening.

The club premises are run down and no-one goes there because the food and surroundings are crap. It will go the way of the Diggers club soon as the pokie tax will hit them like every other club and that will probably reduce the grant the leagues club gives to the football club.

I hear Manly might have a $3m shortfall next year.
