Man would NOT be playing finals but for the selection of Lehi. He may not have played for the blues like Turbo just yet. But Wow this kid is Lehi. Just Wow.

A Champion team is bigger than a team of champions.

Koula well now he's no longer the odd man out is he. No need to off load, u actually need depth in a team if you want to go deep.

Tommy 2. Reubs. Burbo, Paulo, Koula,Parker, Ray Ray who ever it is who is there.

What we will most certainly need is that advantage of an extra player out on the field. That packed out home ground. One that is willing to sing.

Why not even stick Turbo on the side line, champion players lift champion teams. Need not just be by their play. Don't under estimate their presence, their voice, their smarts. Don't under estimate your presence, your voice, your smarts... all influencing that ref.

We are the Man, we like it best when it's backs against the wall.

It's time to ask. How much do we want this home final.

If so, I wonder if Fitzgibbon will rest some of his players against us.

That would definitely help us in securing a home semi.

It disturbs me the number of tries we concede following a penalty. Even though our defence was much stronger tonight we have a poor record of repelling opposition in the set immediately after being penalised. And boy, when we are away from Brookie don't we cop penalties!
Perhaps it systematic of many teams. I wish the refs would cut down the over-officiating and let the players sort out the result.
Some of the penalties being given for "high shots" are embarrassing. The crack-down has gone way too far. When an attacker slips and falls at the knees of a defender who gets penalised; it is simply an accident that can't be avoided.
There will be an outcry when such a penalty decides a grand final.

Our defensive structures seemed the best it's been all year that game. But we had some bad one on one misses.

I was surprised to see Crichton on field with the Dogs pre-game warm-up and huddles. Don't recall seeing a suspended player do that.

How good to hear the Maaaanly chant from the 5000 drowning out the 30000 dogs. Couldn't have been better to see us pour cold water on them. Now hopefully the next 2 weeks will be a heaving , fanatical full house Brookie carrying us onward in the finals.

Lehi has made a massive difference to this team IMO. No finals if Seibold didn't stick with this young kid.

But it is a team game. Everyone contributes.

Without Brown this year the same applies.

Turbo is our best player, so let that speak for it self.

I guess my point is, in 2011 we might have played an elimination final without Gifty. The mantra was Win it so Gifty gets to Play.

Come the Grand final Gifty sure did repay.

Turbo not being on the field should be what spurs this team to win this weekend coming. Not fail because Turbos not there.

Lehi will be a massive part of our team this week if they and the crowd can get the job done.

I was surprised to see Crichton on field with the Dogs pre-game warm-up and huddles. Don't recall seeing a suspended player do that.

Strange, as in the Souffs game both Mitchell and Murray were banned from being on the field, with Mitchell being told not to go on the field at warm up.

An NRL official blocked South Sydney’s request to have Latrell Mitchell help with the on-field warm-up on Friday night.
Under NRL rules no suspended player is allowed to enter the playing field on game-day. It is understood a South Sydney official made the request to the NRL staff on-hand at BlueBet Stadium but the move was rejected.

Mitchell had hoped to assist the South Sydney staff as the team underwent their pre-game warm-up on the field. It is common to see injured players involved in warm-ups and they are often seen carrying equipment.

But because Mitchell was hit with a one-game ban after an off-field incident he was unable to take to the field even if it was before the game. South Sydney skipper Cameron Murray was also a spectator behind the fence after his three game ban for a high tackle last week.

Just re watch that fantastic under manned win over the Dragons at brookie. Lehi was sensational at fullback. I really hope Siebold puts him there next week. This kid could really light up the finals he just looks so ready for this.
