Cannot understand why the Aloiai dislike? This year he has been one of our most consistent & best forwards. Has kept his mouth shut, hasn’t given away too many penalties & just gone hard on the field. I wish Jrbo ran as hard & made as many meters rather than slowing down the play & making SFA go forward!

Certainly don't dislike him personally, and agree completely that he has played considerably more consistent this year.

My point is that I consider him a decent middle-of-the-road NRL prop when fit, but nothing more. Whilst Paseka has the athletic attributes, he just doesn't have the character to be an enforcer. This is why someone in Aloiai's position really needs to be pack leader. The reality is that both these guys would make great bench props at a top 4 club.

Paseka's sheer physicality is of value, and think he would be better utilised from the bench. However, in an ideal world, we would have an elite starting front row to allow for this. This is why I believe the funds going towards Aloiai's contract should have been re-directed towards that of a real A-lister. Don't forget Aloiai was our replacement for AFB. Hardly worth comparing the two unfortunately.

We could get away with our pack in its current form if our defensive systems were better than what they are.

Our pack compared to Dogs and Sharks are similar but they both look much better organised in defence.

Isn't Campbell-Gillard of contract?? He looks like he has several good years in him and he would add a bit more starch to the pack. And he's more mobile than Lodge.

What a huge difference with the middles this week, they turned it back into a team game and Turbo didn’t have to do it all himself..

The Lodge injection set the precedent and they all got on board, Lodge, Tent, Brown, Alioia and Jake were all good.

Bully on the edge doesn’t work as well for him, need him in the middle.
