    It's important to win the shied. You take a lot of confidence into the finals if you are best in season.

    People who says it means nothing are just plain wrong. And for those people you should consider that the Storm winning it three years in a row is some kind of recent record that surpasses Manly's three consecutive minor premierships.

    There was also a time when there were no finals series, and this would have been as god as it got, so in that sense the battle between the Sea Eagles and the Purple Tazars is a week-by-week battle for top honour.

    I think the Storm are ahead of us by 1 point after last nights results, we really need to come out and do a job on Souths

    Yes KE. They have momentarily overtaken us to top spot by one for & against point but it will be short-lived after Sunday unless the Rabbits can hold us scoreless or to 1 point. Now next week may be different but I hope not.
