Agreed, ridiculous penalty. I too think he should just hurl the players towards their own line. Not dump them, just throw them as far as he can. It's obvious that the NRL are trying to, once again, engineer the end result of the comp. What with the scheduling of our games down to the hysteria of the NRL press re Tony it makes me just hate the NRL officialdom and the Telegraph journos even more.

Anyone who watched the press conference would have seen the Sharks coach confessing there was NO intent as would most ppl.
Sure it looked ugly & the execution was clumsy because he lost control of the bloke in the air.
Still of the belief the Uate tackle - a driving spear which he had full control of was far worse last season. The net result - let off to play SOO the next week.
Anyway - nothing here will change the verdict - hope T Rex comes back with the same aggression but better execution for the big games ahead...
