Memo To the Matai Knockers

Surely the coach has had a word with him about running out of the line.  Maybe Des has seen the light re Lyon as a centre and maybe this 5/8th thing might work.  I'm willing to be there to see.  Their halves combo is piss poor so my guess is Matai will have a blinder and all our troubles will be over.

Imagine it's as simple as Matai aactually HAVING a blinder, and our 5/8 issues are sorted !! I know that sounds simplistic, but it COULD happen lads. Then all we need to do is focus on a back rower, and maybe a back up 1/2 like Campese.

I can understand the desire to try Matai at 5/8, but if it does come off then what are we going to do for another centre next year, Bell is off contract and the way he has been playing I would be saying goodbye and thanks for the memories..lol
