So 'apparently' there's also investigations going on into match fixing. An article I read just a minute ado said one game in particular.

Don't smite me down because I'm the sturnest of manly fans, but last years final v Melbourne comes mind very quickly.

What other games come to anyone's mind as unbelievably weird results / performances.

I don't think you'd ever see a finals match fixed

Spot fixing would be the better term for it as well, too hard to fix an entire match, where it would be done is 1st scoring play and things like that

When they use the term " match fixing " it means fixing a type of betting. Not necessarily the result of the match.

Could be first points method or whether a 40/20 is kicked.

I think you will find the match fixing relates mainly to the under 20's comp.

There have been so many tips flying around about games for the past 3 or 4 seasons.

There was a game last year when first played last. Last was tipped to win by 13 plus. They led 20 odd to nil before half time.

I think it was Souths and Warriors, but not certain of this.

It was just one example.

I should add if they couldn't convict Tandy no one has anything to worry about.

I think Tandy got off light but I think he has been helping them with their investigation for a lighter sentence.
