Once again, Matai's ill-discipline, stupidity, and defensive woes has cost us a game. So what if he scored a try and made some bustling runs? What good is that if he gives it all away with the other things he does:
1. We have the ball in the Broncos half. Matai decides to start shoving the marker. Penalty to Broncos. Broncos score next set of six.
2. Matai rushes up out of the line (like he does every week), misses Tate, leaves a huge gap in the line, Tate scores.
3. Matai decides to pass (for the first time in the match) once he is OVER the line.
4. Matai has a flying Robbo on his outside, decides not to pass (because he can't pass that direction) and instead chip kicks to the fullback.
5. Matai gave away a second penalty as well.
I'm sorry, but this guy is too dumb and too bad defensively to play - he hasn't improved his defence or his discipline in 3 months.
