Willie Mason to miss two matches
August 22, 2006 - 1:14PM

Bulldogs back-rower Willie Mason won't play again until the NRL semi-finals after entering an early guilty plea to a grade two careless high tackle charge.

Mason has copped the two-match ban for his high shot on Brisbane halfback Shane Perry during last Friday's 30-0 loss to the Broncos, ruling him out of the final two regular season matches.

In other judiciary news, Newcastle hooker Danny Buderus is free to play in Saturday's clash with Penrith after pleading guilty to a grade one careless high tackle charge.

And North Queensland pair Clint Amos and Steve Southern have also escaped suspension after entering early guilty pleas to their grade one dangerous throw charges.
