Manlys premiership odds

I notice bookies are very keen to lengthen Manly's premiership odds at every opportunity. Manly are now at $15.00, while the Tiggers, who have looked crap are in to $9.00.

I dunno, I'd have Manly at around $9.00 based on their form. I think they look great, are playing to gameplan, and have plenty of depth with the emergence of Hoppa, Oldfield, DCE, and Buhrer.

Can anyone offer thoughts on why they are such a long price?. Or should we be jumping in at over the odds here.

Maybe its the fact they haven't played Brisbane, Canterbury, or Saints yet?. Will they be found out?.

I think it's because every time we play a team that is considered a contender we lose, Scum, Bunnies, Girls. We have managed to beat Penrith, Cronulla, Easts, Newcastle and the only decent opposition in the Kiwis. When we beat St George or Brisbane or Canterbury then our odds will justifiably improve.

ATM our results are indicative of those odds, regardless of whether we've been hard done by or not.

We may have lost to the Bunnies / Cowboys but we competed in those games to the wire and arguably should of won the cowboys game.

I discount melbourne as it was orund 1 away with a rookie halfback and we have improved immensley since that game.

they are good odds. IMO, we are going to lose games, but the only team capable of putting 13+ on our blokes are the dragons.

All it takes is a team like melb, cant or anyone on a roll to knock them off in the semi's.

Forego your next beer and put a five or tenner on manly to win the comp at $15's.
