Hi Silvertails

I've just updated Manly's Wikipedia page, focusing in particular on a new section I created called "Local catchment area" - featuring our proud list of local juniors and the clubs they played for.

I trust most of the info is correct BUT I'm sure I left out a few names. Please feel free to let me know of any names I missed or any corrections that need to be made and I'll happily make them over the weekend.

Great work.
Roy Bull was our first local junior to represent Australia I'm fairly sure.
Not sure about our first captain Max Whitehead may have represented.

Hmmm...Nik Kosef wasn’t *really* a local junior. Came down from Cobar at around 15, if I recall correctly? I don’t really think it counts if you move because a club has already spotted you and signed you...

Well, considering I've got both Cliffy and Hopoate on the list, I don't having a problem including Nik. Do you know what local club he played for?

Well, considering I've got both Cliffy and Hopoate on the list, I don't having a problem including Nik. Do you know what local club he played for?

No idea, but Cobar Roosters are pretty proud of him!

I wouldn’t have Cliffy listed as a local either, BTW. He was from Narrabri (via Western Sydney) and had already come into grade at Norths before he signed with Manly.

Hoppa is a bit of a different case, given his family did actually live in Manly after migrating from Tonga, and he did play juniors for Manly Cove as a kid before moving out Campbelltown way as a teenager.

It’s like something I saw yesterday giving kudos to Melbourne for ‘developing’ Josh Addo-Carr...ummm, yeah. Not quite!
