This should be easy for a 'True Supporter'


Though often in the Shadow of my more illustrious partner I go down in history as a legend of Grand Final history for Manly. I starred in the first two Premiership successes but missed the third one a few years later (76). As a swan song I made a vital impact in the 78 campaign and played as a replacement in the GF. My grand final record stands as good as anyone in my era, enjoying more September success than anyone else in the decade or so I played in first grade.

Well done Volley. Branighan played late in the Souths area and then was a key player for Manly till 79. He missed the finals in 76 due to injury but still was a key player in 78.

An absolute great who had a lot of success with Bozo. His kicking was often vital.
