Just heard Manly went down 18-12 to Wests. Sounds like a good effort by the team and in particular Liam Foran, Cunningham, Harrison and Moujali

The 2nd half of this game was on the radio this afternoon. The first half wrap up was 6all with a try to Oldfield. The callers said that Foran was very good and that Harrison has NRL written all over him. Very hot and humid. A strong forward clash.
Second half started with a charge down and wests ran in a try from 47 metres out and we were down 10-6. From there up to the drink break at the 60 minute mark, Manly were in control through the forwards. Both of our halves, Foran and Riccardi led the team around the park, which allowed Higgins at dummyhalf a bit of space. Riccardi put Cunningham over for a try and the lead at 12-10. Manly were controlling the game with their defence. Then.... the drink break and Wests started to get more ball and then maintained field position. An easy try to Wests with 6 minutes to go and that was it. The game was referred to as a "crackerjack" game. Jowett had a solid match in patches. It didn't seem that we used the backs much in the 2nd half.
