Game Day: Manly v Warriors [Round 6, 2016]

It's hilarious... we fix up our slow starts but then drop off where we have been doing well previously. I guess TB will need another training week to explain that while we pick up intensity and performance in one aspect, we at the same time maintain the other aspects that are working lol
Oh wait, sorry! Only a 5 day turnaround so perhaps TB will have to address it after the Eels game 😉

Gaz, you tosser. Just suggested an unsuccessful trip attempt should be punished... Does he actually think before he opens his mouth?

The Warriors are also known to fade in the second half - here's hoping 😀

Wish Parcell would run the ball more, and Walker pass more. @
Parcell does run... Just only on the 4th tackle. And Walker does pass... when it's to a forward about to be smashed. 🙂

Happy to be in front at half time for once.

Myles is having a poor game and I've defended him over the last couple of weeks. Running like She-Rex in the first year of a four year deal.

The rest of the forwards have been good.

Snake looks lost without DCE and the less said about our last tackle plays, the better. We're rudderless.

Let's hope the boys can finish this one off.

So far no Manly player has run for 100 metres. T-Red is our best with 84 followed by (surprise surprise) Myles with 72 and Skivy with 66. RTS has already clocked up 110 metres. Parcell isn't running much, only 5 metres so far.

We've made 639 metres from 89 runs compared to the Warriors 571 from 77. Kick metres is 189-223 to the Warriors.

Jake and Parcell have made 22 and 21 tackles respectively. Both have also missed one. Api has already made 19 tackles. We've made 144 tackles and missed 11. They've made 159 and missed 14.

Dylan Walker has made 5 tackles, but he's also missed 3. Hoffman has also missed 3 for NZ.

Possession is 54-46 our way. We've completed 15/19 sets (79%). Penalties are 5-all and we've made 6 errors to their 4.

The stats suggest we should be behind. The stats are lying because we're in front 12-6.

im happy with the improved defence out wide. still sliding back but making the tackles when they count. we need to score first and stay ahead in this game. if warriors get a quick couple of tries early will be hard to chase them down at home.

we can win this, just need better 5th tackle options and better kicking game. if we can force them to run it out from their 20m line they are prone to mistakes. need the kicks to find the grass and get them turning around. can't afford short kicks and kicking down their throat. that's where they will get a roll on and are hard to stop, especially with their offloads

Anyone else think that tap by TVS when given the penalty was off for some reason?

Isn't the ref supposed to give the mark?

Just seemed all The Manly lads weren't ready?
