From the 'NRL 2025, Injuries, Suspension Return Dates, Casualty Ward and Key Information for the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership Season' web page, Here is the Latest NRL Injured or Unavailable Update:

* * * (Updated: Thursday, 04 September 2025) * * *

Sea Eagles speedster Tolu Koula was forced from the field with a knee injury during Saturday night's win over the Dragons.

Koula helped himself to a try in the 20th minute at Jubilee Stadium but went down injured nine minutes later and was assisted from the field.

"The initial assessment is it's a Grade 2 MCL and generally speaking that's a 4-6 weeks out for something like that," Manly coach Anthony Seibold said.

In more positive news, Seibold expects
Taniela Paseka to be available for Round 27 as he approaches a return from an Achilles rupture.

Manly forward
Jake Trbojevic is set to sit out the remainder of the regular season as he continues to recover from a concussion.

Trbojevic suffered his third concussion in the past four months in the Sea Eagles' Round 23 loss to the Raiders and club medical staff have taken a cautious approach with his recovery.

Well last nights result means this is a nothing game for the Wahs. I wonder if they’ll rest a few key players , it would be a smart move on their front.

Give us one last win for the year - please
In an absolute dog of a year that would be nice.

But it’s a bit like “ kissing your sister “ at this point.

I would suggest there will be a lot of emotion , it being the Chasers finale, so I’d suggest they’ll be UP for the game.

It’s just such a pity he was dogging it for many games this year , we lost 3-4 that we should have easily won , and imagine what 8 more points would mean.

I have a feeling the realisation ( by him ) that he was ****ting on his own legacy probably hit him a month ago and that turned his performances around.

Anyway it’s all history now , let’s get it over and hope 2026 isn’t worse

Last game of a very disappointing season of lost opportunities. Let’s hope the boys finish with a win. A new captain and a new era to follow in 2026.
Onwards & upwards ( hopefully ), although I think 2026 will be a similar year to this one.

We are still short of the elusive , prop, hooker , dynamic edge ( to compliment Ola).

Maybe 2027
