I can't remember being less interested in a game than this one? What an underwhelming season this has been ....
I am excited to see Walsh debut, even if he only gets 10 minutes. I do like the symbolism of he and Cherry playing one game together before the old bloke f#cks off to the Far East(ern suburbs), but mostly it's because watching some of our younger players develop has been about the only joy Manly has delivered me over the past 10 years or so. Even when, like Weekes, they do most of that development at another team.

How many can the Warriors legally rest today.
Can they use all of their reserves list ?
I think it’s the 24 hour mark where they cut from 4 to 2, so all I can think of is the two on the list both go in and I’d be resting Fish & Halesima , need them injury free for the finals

Anyone else leaving?

Chance of that ZERO

Yes it’s surreal in a way , pretty meaningless game , other than a decent farewell for those departing

One, maybe two there I would keep.

In an absolute dog of a year that would be nice.

But it’s a bit like “ kissing your sister “ at this point.

I would suggest there will be a lot of emotion , it being the Chasers finale, so I’d suggest they’ll be UP for the game.

It’s just such a pity he was dogging it for many games this year , we lost 3-4 that we should have easily won , and imagine what 8 more points would mean.

I have a feeling the realisation ( by him ) that he was ****ting on his own legacy probably hit him a month ago and that turned his performances around.

Anyway it’s all history now , let’s get it over and hope 2026 isn’t worse
Mate look at our injury list. We'd be out in 1 if we'd made the 8 and also would be papering over the huge cracks in our squad.

Agree , it’s a blessing really although some would say “ who cares we made the finals “.
