Sold out again! This is bound to be fun!

Hmmmmm Warriors with NOTHING to play for....dangerous combination....:wait:
This is a game where Manly's Attitude first 20 mins will decide if they want to play a team who "hold up the white flag", or gain confidence and the "big men run harder and the passes stick".
It's important to remember that NZ on their day can upset any team in the comp and also can lose the game to the worst teams by 50.
It comes down to how Manly come out and based on recent "efforts", I am expecting a team who knows they are a potential Top 4 side and continue to build at the business end of the season.

Warriors are a momentum team. Our discipline has been atrocious. If we let them get away, they're hard to reign back in.

That being said, we really should win this by 20. But games we are meant to win by 20 scare m the most.

Can't believe we've dropped Lawton. He's been one of our best even in games we've lost. He's certainly been better that Burbo in second row in my opinion. Also only two replacement forwards on the bench is a worry. Surely they're not going to bring Koala on as a replacement forward. Odd selections which could backfire.

...on as a forward. (oops sorry)

Do you know for a fact that Lawton was dropped?

So unless the Sharks game at Brookie is rained upon by Noah for the week before, 2024 i think will be Manly's highest Brookie season crowd average ever. Which is doubly remarkable as the ground capacity used to be another 10K than the 17K it is now.

1. 15,931 (11 games) Manly 1976
2. 15,484 (11 games) Manly 2006
3. 15,171 (12 games) Manly 2005
4. 14,900 (11 games) Manly 2007
5. 14,860 (11 games) Manly 1994
6. 14,722 (11 games) Manly 1995
7. 14,719 (8 games) Manly 1971
8. 14,660 (11 games) Manly 1993
9. 14,546 (11 games) Manly 1991

Lawton wasn't mentioned in the latest injury report from three days ago. Must have been recent.

If we come out and play good solid footy early and let them know they are in for a tough night working it out from their own end with the crowd roaring us on I reckon we'll handle the Warriors pretty easily.

But If we start to play jungle ball and throw it around and make errors and get them interested and thinking they can win a shootout then we could be in for a tough night.

It's not our style I know, but gee I hope we just reign it in for the little bit and get a foothold into the game before we start the razzle dazzle.

C'mon Manly. With Cleary possibly going down this competition just got a whole lot more interesting.

As per normal, the same posters saying it's a danger game for us, so was the Tit's, Knights and the Faders games, but we put these side's to bed fairly quickly. And the same will happen to the Warriors, it's all about what's in your head what you're playing for. Manly, at least 5th or 6th. Warriors a trip to the Northern Beaches, just throw the ball around look competitive for the first 20min if not looking good, oh well, at least we gave it a shot.
