Tonight’s clash with the Tigers feels more like a reality TV elimination round : “So You Think You Can Coach?” starring Anthony Seibold.
We’ve somehow made losing to bottom eight battlers an art form this season and if we manage to serve up another limp lettuce leaf performance tonight, I reckon even the hot chips & meat pies will start booing. The Tigers are pretty shocking but if recent form is any guide, we’ll find a way to make them look like the Harlem Globetrotters.
It’s either the resurrection of Manly pride or the live burial of Siebs' clipboard.

We play all teams below us back into form , we are absolute specials ( at doing that ).

Look who knows , they might have reached the bottom , and think it’s only when that happens ( or maybe after the coach is sacked which seems inevitable now ) that we might see any sort of turnaround.

So is that tonight 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷

From my perspective i love watching my team play. Look fwd to it but as of late its felt like tuning in to repeats of old shows. The schedule hasnt helped i suppose but if manly just continue to go through the motions, one day soon I might turn it off . Never done it yet

The excitement level in our games in nth eagles level

Even when we go good for 20, even the the most loyal fan would be thinking, well this is going to turn and end bad for us. We are the training manual for how Not to close out games
The trick is to just illogically expect a turnaround each week.

Manly 13+

Jerome out I think we win despite the weak pack.
Think Tommy to 4 will be a game changer in future for us. Won’t beat the contenders but might get us the two points v Tigers/ Dragons/ Dolphins

Then again we could get slaughtered

At this point it’s avoiding the spoon that counts most.

The indignity of running dead last , for the first time ever , would be very hard to swallow.

After another week of talking
Time to just put the effort on park
A win is what needs to happen whether it does who knows
But just gets it done tonight Manly
GO MANLY

Too much talking , so little action.

Think we’ll know very quickly , I’d suggest around 6.05pm-6.10pm we’ll have a pretty good idea.

I’m expecting an ambush from the visiting side but let’s see

Season changing opportunity, get it done, I’m really looking forward to the game, not overly confident, but gee, if we can’t win this one at home with them missing two thirds of their spine, the rest of the season won’t be much fun. Get it done…..
