I always wonder why players don't kick fg more when there is under a minute to go

Great ball security and excellent support play, running at pace onto the ball, especially from Lane early in the game. Top 4 effort first half.

Our forwards are well on top but we are still a bit clunky off the back of it. Should have had a few more penalties from Storm slowing the play the ball down, being offside and even using 3 markers (one off the ground made the tackle). Service from dummy half has been noticeably better than usual.

Outstanding high tempo energy in attack, and some good bruising defence. Nevertheless, attacking structure is still missing, and as usual, we are looking good on the back of offloads and ad-lib footy. We really need to address structure if we want to be a genuine contender in the years ahead.

AFB had a huge first half, closely followed by Marty, and the rest of the forward pack were all strong. Suli, tough and aggressive in defence. DCE re-discovered the boots on his feet. Tom and Fainu look dangerous and look like they could put something on anytime they touch the ball.

Tom remains Tom. Still makes the same errors and poor positioning play, but just so dangerous. Geez, I really wish he could add that polish and grow his game in those key areas; he would be unbelievable. Unfortunately, he just doesn't seem to be improving in those areas over time at all.
