As mentioned elsewhere, it's a bit of a concern reading about how much money the greedy nrl will lose if the game is at Brookie.

I suggest we all flood social media with this 'concern', so much that the powers at be have to call the rort off as "we're on to them!"

In hockey, when the refs screw up the crowd all chant "refs you suck, refs you suck" for awhile.

though best to let the nrl we're onto their preference for a dogs home final so the 'totally independent and above reproach honest refs' adjudicate the game fairly.

Now, I'm taking off my tin foil hat and going to get a haircut!

A Canterbury win would have sealed an elimination final at the Sydney Olympic Park venue next Saturday where a crowd of more than 50,000 was expected. That can only happen now if Manly lose at home to Cronulla on Sunday afternoon.

The NRL collects the gate takings during all finals games – and the difference between a sixth-versus-seventh elimination final at 4 Pines Park and 17,000 fans compared to more than 50,000 supporters at Accor Stadium could be about $1 million, according to sources with knowledge of the finances, but who are not authorised to speak publicly.
Easy fix then, NRL and Gov, build Manly a bigger stadium.....Cause the Sea Eagles are going to be hunting come September for years to come. 🦅🦅🦅
In the meantime, let's just increase the intensity and take the ref out of the game......

🤔 cement trucks 🚚?

So far for this final round the referees have generally been very "hands off" compared to the last few rounds.
That has stuck out like a sore thumb.
Annesley will say it's all just coincidence. NRL fans will say...

We win , it’s a home semi , means SO MUCH.

We lose , because of dodgy reffing , then my tin foil hat conspiracy theory will have been proven once and for all.

We lose because we weren’t good enough , then fair enough !

Over to you Annusly & Co

Home final please - 🦅👍👍👍👍
Good morning feathered friend @The Wheel , I hope you are keeping healthy and happy in your Eagle nest

If our forwards play like they did last week well then I still believe we have plenty of strike power without Tom and Saab for this one. I am expecting us to win comfortably and an early Sunday arvo game on a dry track should see us play a fast game with plenty of opportunities to defeat a Top 4 team

Manly 28 Sharks 16

We still have a lot of elusive players and players like Koula and Brooks need to go finding some space. Hopoate adds a lot of composure to the team and Garrick is really turning into a good attacking centre he just needs to show some better reads in defence. Faulalo will hopefully get a bit more space because he seems to be a bit of a speedster.

Of course a home final would be wonderful for us fans and gives us the best chance of advancing. However a loss won't be disastrous for our chances of making a prelim or better. We have struggled at Accor for a while now and there is a chance all our finals will be played there(most likely we go to Melb for a prelim).
Wouldn't be a bad thing to play a team we just dominated at Accor to get more confident and familiar with the venue that will host the majority if not all our finals.

Hi All,

I apologise if I’m in the wrong thread.

I have 5 membership tickets in the Bozo stand and I can’t make today’s game(I’m in Nelson Bay).

I would like to give them to a mate and his family who lives on the beaches. Do anyone know if I can just take a photo of the back of the cards and send to him for entry?

Thanks.

You could try calling the club. They sent me a digital version for printing out as I lost my member cards. Not sure if the membership hotline is open on a Sunday but worth a shot.
