Early in the 2nd half, Perrett was penalised for a "second attempt" after tackling Luke Lewis. Moments later when Gallen did the same on Jake, Jake was nicked for a knock-on in the play the ball.

Yup, clear as day gallen's knee knocking that ball out of jake's grip.

Also clear was the sharks tactic of grabbing the oppositions ball carrying arm and sliding down it. As maloney did to siro.

And the ref's just lap lap lap lap it all up like the dogs (etc)

Interesting observation from a couple of Sharks members who were at the game yesterday- our pack in terms of size was clearly bigger/stronger that the Sharks pack. Also said Perret was a monster when he game on hit and ran as hard as Marty

Wasn't it wonderful to see Darcy out there and playing solid minutes of disciplined football.
He doesn't have to carry the team like he did last year and with his stinging defence I can see him playing a very important role this year.
