Is this a good omen or not?
Was just talking to my neighbour across the road (you know the one I’ve mentioned dozens of times, Matty Kings father-in-law.). I know he gets home dead on 6pm (stalker much!). But I went out purposely around 5.45 pm to dress up my big concrete Eagle with beanie and scarf (and I even put one of those useless lanyards around his neck, I knew they’d come in handy eventually).
And sure enough in he comes at 6pm. See’s me and waves me over. We start talking footy of course. He tells me he just got off the phone to Matt. Matt tells him that Robbo is a bit off tonight. Of course I ask what "off" means, hoping he’d been down to Mackays local Chinese, and has a good bout of food poisoning. But no unfortunately. He said Robbos going troppo, firing up the boys away from the cameras and media (apparently he’s usually pretty calm and precise in pre-game rev ups). I said shiit, that doesn’t bode well for our boys. But old mate (who is a lovely bloke), says that’s the problem for the Rorters. He’s gone away from his usual ways. Now that’s not really a big deal for a coach in a sudden death semi, with half his team out (please don’t read that like I’m going soft, fuuck ‘em I think. I don’t convey those thoughts to old mate. He’s to nice to go off swearing and bitching.)
But as I finally come to the home straight of my story (phew!). It’s Matt that’s worried (apparently he’s very superstitious ). And Robbo going away from his normal pre-match talk has him worried. So, of course I’m grinning like a cheshire cat. Then old mate says best of luck, and off he goes.

We have had an easy draw at best we are an 8-10 team. Let's see if Tom performs tonight when was the last time he had a dig in a final? Give me Snake and Wombat until he performs in big games for us.

Finally to the mod who first banned me from game day threads than gave me a 2 week forum ban for trolling lighten up.

We are not consistent but given we played most top 4 teams in rds 1-4 i'd say that it's way too early to declare us flat track bullies. That more applies to teams that have been up for a few years but never beat or challenge the top teams. Last week was not something to look back on with any reliability given how terrible we played (probably warranted losing by 50+)

Anyways, very, very happy to hear Taupau has been benched this week!

I love it, get him to ring Matty back and tell him I’m not superstitious, but I made a voodoo doll of Robo and I’ve been kicking the fuk out it, happy to know its working properly.

2. I did not ban you but.....the idea that trolling behavior needs to lighten up? This is a community - when you troll you do it to upset other people without a base. For sure have a contrary opinion (like we are flat track bullies) but trolling is just pointless
