Game day it is
Not that overly confident
Think the raiders will be primed for this game
Raiders will niggle all afternoon and will distract us from playing smart footy.
I would love to see win but brookvale oval is not filling me with confidence.
Also raiders to win the penalty count.

The rain yesterday will make the surface slippery.

Manly should be refreshed and raring to win big at Brookie

Fox is scheduled to televise the reserve grade at 11:40

We're free! The thread is free!!

I just hope we aren't as rusty as some other teams this weekend - that had the bye last weekend.

some of the games have been, err, scrappy to be polite.

Manly by 73 points!

True. Myles does the little things. Plugs up our defence. Hopefully Perret can offset that with some strong runs and offloads.

That being said we lose. Simple fact. Home game

Walks needs to get a hattrick to continue his feud with Leilua >:)

Jake will score a couple to release the SOO adrenaline still coursing through his body

Manly 28+
BJ FTS
Walks MOM

I am expecting a fairly convincing Manly victory today.

I just can't see the Raiders defence containing the best attacking team in the comp, especially considering the Manly boys will have a point to prove on their home turf.

Fortress Lottoland will be born today. We will kill the Raiders and then the Knights over the next fortnight and find ourselves sitting pretty in 4th position after our next bye.

I am confident that Perrett will do what needs to be done, he is a great meter eater and is very selective with his offloads.

Manly by 14+

I must say I think it's a worry , Ricky will have them primed for revenge.

AND, we are away specialists this year, and just terrible at home ( why I have no idea).

If this was in Canberra I'd pick Manly BUT I'm really worried about the above two aspects

Manly ......just..........maybe/ maybe not!

@HappilyManly Hows the weather down there, any chance of that track drying out??

AND, considering this are they likely to move the earlier games to keep the surface pristine for the 1sts??

MIGOTY for sure this one. Get a gap on our rivals at a vital stage of the year and we could push for a spot in the 8. Actually move to 5th with a win. Lose and we go out of the 8 and that's where we'll stay. We just cannot afford any more home losses as our away run is sure to end. This game will make or break our season. It's a 2017 turning point for Manly today. I just hope we get a great home crowd support.

i think this will be pretty tight again like game 1 against the faiders. Expect plenty of passion from both teams and toss of the coin as to who wins.
